I am on the news paper!!
Well there was a lot of press coverage for the marathon, so I was watching the new and the news paper to see if by chance I got in. Lucky me… My picture is in Deccan Herald. Here is the picture.

Bangalore International Marathon
I came to know about the marathon in Bangalore a month back and I am definitely not in shape to do any long run. But I thought I can get back in shape in a month, I was totally wrong and also got sick in between so really didn’t have much time to practice. My only goal was to do a half marathon and finish it; I really don’t care about the time. The first 15kms was good after that my knee starts to give up and I have to push myself for the next 6kms. My brother also did the celebration run (7k).

I finshed the race in 2hr 44 min. Well its not the best timing but atleast I finished and the best part is they gave me a certificate with a empty timing (I can fill in what ever timing I want).

Finally…
Finally got my internet connection at home, hopefully I will try to blog regularly. I still haven’t settled down fully here, things take it own time out here.
