What I really want to say…
So I am walking around with elbow wrap for the past 3 days and everyone I know asks me what happened. This is what I really want to say
“I was snowboarding and was doing a big jump and fell down and almost broke my arm”
I think it is cool to say something like that. First of all I must be really good in snow boarding to do a jump, well that is cool. Secondly I must be really cool to attempt a jump like that. But that is not what happened…
“I fell down on a bunny slope and I almost broke my arm.”
That is not cool. At least I was lucky not to break my arm. That would have been even worse to say.
Here is what really happened…
It was the end of the day on Saturday. Instead of taking the gondola to the bottom I decided to snow board all the way down. Everything was going fine; I was picking up some good speed. I was doing a turn and I totally lost control and all I remember was my face was heading to the ground with a good speed. Just to break that I extended my arm and landed on my arm.
I know some thing was really wrong because the pain was killing me. I just sat there for 3-4mins just to get myself together. Unfortunately all my friends were ahead of me so I have to get back by myself, somehow got up and boarded all the way down. I was really scared that I might have broken something, so went straight to the first aid center and got an x-ray taken. I was lucky I didn’t break anything.
I was in total pain, can’t even move my arm. Well I know that they will give me some good pain killer. YES they gave me VICODIN. I thought they will give me 4-5 tablets. They gave me 4 and prescribed 24 tables with 2 refills. Why the hell do I need that many VICODIN. No wonder people or hooked on to this tablet.
Well let me know if anyone of you is interested may be I will have a ‘VICODIN Party’.
Some pictures from my trip.
